Mary . I didn't know I had the idol. I had JR and didn't get the idol until later. Bc he won that challenge. From day 1 Yul made me feel like I was his number 1, He talked to me ALL day everyday....the kid must not have a real job or wife bc I don't see how he had time for anything else. stupid me for believing him, I should have told u all when I got it but we were so convinced they were voting you I decided to save it.

Yul isn't that bad. He's better than Cliff! Come on, anyone makes a good winner except for him.

I'm curious as to why he's better than Cliff though. Cliff was a key player in your blindside and has set himself up simultaneously as an indispensable swing vote from round to round AND a person who has no enemies on the jury. Look through the crazy persona, and there's a SHOCKINGLY solid game behind the curtain. Maybe you might think that he has a lack of agency to his game up until final 8, but what's worse: Hibernating until you absolutely need to make a move, or making deals with literally everyone in the game, then sending them to jury.
My view right now is that at least Cliff KNOWS what he's doing. Yul doesn't seem to understand how his method of making and breaking alliances is sloppy and dumb.

I barely spoke to Cliff the whole game despite feeling like I made an effort on my part. Yul at least was always online and willing to talk with me!

Solid point. I guess my viewpoint is colored by the fact that I talked with Cliff a decent amount.

Yeah, I understand other people might've had a better impression with Cliff (or Spencer, no offence!) than I got. But I just never connected with either of them at all.
I don't see Cliff playing a great game either to be honest. His move to take me out was impressive but let's face it he was dragged to that point and just being told what to do, I doubt it's been any different since then.

I was going to vote for Yul 100% if he was in the finals bc he played me so well. But I do agree with Mary - there is lying for game purposes and then there is unnecessary lying. I find myself questioning all of our conversations, even about everyday things. Is there anything genuine about him??

Mary - It's funny to me you saying you've seen me be untrustworthy in the past (I don't deny it, but I feel like it's rare). I feel like being trustworthy has always been a strong aspect of my game-play, and has also always been my downfall. I switched it up this game because I felt I needed too, and I probably ended up in a worse placement than if I had stuck it out with the guys alliance. However, my goal was to make final three with Yul and Cliff and crush them in final tribal because I could see how each of them was playing this game, and I was like "I got this, it's too easy".
Silas- Buddy, I take no offense, I was practically a mute for a good portion of the middle of the game.

Silas- Buddy, I take no offense, I was practically a mute for a good portion of the middle of the game. I did like you from when we spoke the first round! To be honest there were a couple of rounds early on where I wasn't around much either, so at that point, if anyone was at the bottom of the five guys alliance, I felt it was me and you. So I felt we were somewhat in a similar position. Even though you weren't really ever on AIM, I still should've started PM'ing you earlier like the other guys did. I did start talking with you a few days before my boot, cause I knew you'd be important to my game, but I think I realised that a bit too late. I did have the Final 3 deal with Yul/Ethan (which I think was genuine from their part too) but I did want you in the Final 4 with us for sure and if I had my way, even get Yul/Ethan out next. I don't blame you for turning on me though, cause I never got around to telling you that. :/

Lol he made EVERYONE feel like his number one. Me included, but I knew he was the type of player who was talking with everyone and making them all feel the same way. I know I wasn't like SUPER active at times either and took a few nights off here and there, but whenever I signed on, Yul was always there and wanting to talk with me. I just see it like he's putting effort into the game more than anything. I think of everyone, both in and out of the game, he by far put the most time into it. I think that should be rewarded on some level.

I caught him out in an unbelievable number of lies about stuff it didn't even make sense to lie about, like even little snippets he'd say about his "real" life wouldn't line up. And whenever I'd point that stuff out to him, he'd give me half-assed explanations or try to change the subject. The little perv also asked me to have cybersex with him right before voting me off.

Just curious why was Yul never a target this whole time since the merge? It seems that it was always me or Bobby being targeted by the other side, even Ethan's name being thrown around. But never his... was that cause he was making you girls feel you needed him?

Edit: I'm going to DEMAND to see proof before I believe that because it seems too crazy.
