Round 1:

[Chaos Kass]

Well well well, this confessional has been a long time coming.  I am sorry for the delay but a lot has happened in the first round so fasten your seatbelts and get ready for the ride!


So starting with before the actual game began.  When I first checked in there were not many people around...it made me nervous that this might not be a super active game.  I spoke with only a few people at that point, one being Mary (who I assume PMed everyone immediately) and the other being Shelby aka Ethan.  Ethan and I hit it off immediately.  The girl playing him seems like a really nice girl and down to earth but also with an edge.  She is from Oklahoma but hates it there and makes fun of all the methheads which is hilarious to me cause I never want to go to Oklahoma haha.  I'm definitely a city person.  Anyway, we bonded pretty quick.  The connection with Mary however was slower because we were only communicating through PM.  She did mention the fact that it could be guys vs girls, an idea i didnt LOVE cause I'm playing as Kass, and this is the Island of Love, and I might be playing with all young hot girls?  That's a recipe for disaster, so i was definitely concerned.  Aside from that, pregame was quiet, until a few hours before the beginning of game announcements.

While waiting for the game to commence, I started talking to Gillian and a little bit to Taj.  I recognized that Gillian seemed smart and would be active, and I capitalized on the fact that we were the two old bitches of the cast.  I mentioned the fact that with this being the island of love, we didnt know what would be in store but we didn't want the young girls coming together and taking us out.  Around this time we both realized, hey, Taj is also cool and she is no spring chicken, shes also an older bitch!  So we all started talking and kind of organically we formed The Hags.  I think Gillian is the one that coined it.  I love this name for our alliance, and I also think it's an alliance people won't recognize, at least not right away.  

So then!  The host starts the game and holy shit did that make shit crazy!  So we find out officially that it's going to be boys vs girls much to my dismay.  Having the Hag alliance did help calm that dismay though.  Then, we find out about The Golden Bonds twist!  We are each connected to a person of the opposite sex and if that person stays safe to the merge, we get a hidden immunity idol.  This presents huge ramifications and presents a question.  Do you tell the person you  have that u have them?  Or not?  If you tell them, they could tell other people and at the merge if you do get an idol you could become a target.  On the other hand, if you do tell them it could help to create a bond with someone on the other side,  There are multiple other scenarios that could also happen with this bond thing, that I probably haven't even considered yet.  

So i ran to my confessional to see who I had and bam, yes!! Ethan!  The one guy on the other tribe that I had already made a solid connection with!  He is active and social so he is a sure bet to make the merge, perfect!   OR SO I THOUGHT!

So I started a convo with Ethan, not sure if I would say anything just yet, however, Ethan was having a very bad night personally.  One of his best friends had died that day and she was devastated.  She was also heavily intoxicated.  She was in a dark place and very sad and I felt terrible.  I had only just met this girl so there was not much I could do but tell her how sorry i was and try to say hopeful things.   She said she was going to stay in the game to help keep her mind off things and that's when I decided I would help cheer her up by giving her some news....that I had her as my Golden Bond partner!  That was my big mistake.  I told her this at the same exact time she was reading about all the twists and being wasted she totally got all the information flipped upside down!

She was under the impression that because I had her, she had me too.  In her drunken state she told Bobdawg and the two other guys she must have felt close to start a chat room and to invite me.  So I get pulled into this chat room with Bob Dawg (who I had been chatting a little bit with on the side.) , Silas (who I had barely spoken to) and Spencer (who i had had absolutely no contact with.  So Ethan starts going on about how Kass is here and how I can bring them power and help them and then started saying everyone, bring your partners in here to the chat!!  She wanted to create an alliance btw the people here.  I was caught soooooo off guard.  I started talking to Bob Dawg on the side and was like wtf is going on, why is Ethan doing this?  He said he didn't know but part of me thinks he knew what was going down.  Instantly we were like yo Ethan, read the rules, if all of us invite the people we have, it could end being everyone in the whole game in the chat.  Finally I think he realized what the rules really were and got a little back down to earth.  In the end it seemed like the 5 of us created an alliance.  Honestly, I was kind of annoyed.  I didn't really want to be a part of this alliance, because it didn't really help me at all, I'm on a completely opposite tribe than these guys, so having an alliance with them only helps me gain info.  Which is why I decided to calm down and just say I was cool teaming up with these guys.  They had their discussion of who they would vote for right then and there, and I was privy to all of it.    Their two options for voting were Cliff and Jim.  Cliff because he is a troll that talks about penises all the time, and Jim because he was seemingly completely inactive.  They eventually settled on Jim and soon enough people had to start going to bed.  

So in my head I kind of tried to figure out the guys tribe.  To me it seems like Bob Dawg is the leader.  He is the one that presented the two options of Cliff and Jim,  and he seems like a seasoned veteran of these kinds of games.  He has Spencer Ethan and Silas with him, and definitely has a connection with Yul because he asked them all if it was OK if he informed Yul of their decision to vote for Jim.  That leaves JR as their 6h and Cliff as their 7th (for the time being).  WHile i was weary of the 5 person alliance I had just formed with 4 guys (and nervous that the info could get out and that the girls would find out), it was also good that I had been involved because it gave me a better picture of how things were working on the other tribe.  (who knows maybe im completely wrong)  Oh, i also forgot to mention amogst the melee I also admitted to Bob Dawg that I had Ethan as my partner.  There was no way of hiding it after the things that Ethan had said in the chat, it was just too obvious.  Another reason why I need to be careful of Bob Dawg.

OK so at this point I have 2 alliances.

The Hags - myself, Gillian and Taj
The What Alliance - myself, Ethan, BobDawg, Silas and Spencer

Now that the vote had been decided on the boys side, and i had connected with one half of the guys already, I felt pretty good about my cross tribal communication. Things got even better with the guys when JR came to me and told me he had me as his Golden Bond partner. Perfect, another person that won't be gunning for me. I also started to establish a connection with Yul, he seems like a cute guy, and very nice (although he definitely chats with everyone). So I was doing good with 6 of the 8 guys.

Now I needed to work on my relationships with the girls, so that I could make it through my own vote. Having already established something with Taj and Gillian, and having talked to Mary I waited to see if RC Jefra Julie or Marissa would come around. So I waited and waited, and waited...and nothing. i figured they probably wouldn't be around until tomorrow so I sent them all PMs so that I would have attempted to make some sort of effort to connect with them all and hopefully because of that I would not be targeted this first round. Just before I was about to go to bed, I got a PM from Mary suggesting we vote Julie. I was fine with that, cause I hadn't really spoken to her yet. She had been online but we kept missing each other. So I went to bed and by the time I had woken up the next morning it seems that everyone had gotten the word about Julie and was set to vote for her. As the round went on and Julie didn;t seem to be checking in or really caring about the game, the consensus to vote her became stronger and stronger. I was able to speak a little bit to all of Jefra, Marissa (both who are in Europe) and RC (who lives in Kentucky). Nothing solid has been built with them, but at least there are open lines of communication there and I know some of the other old ladies haven't even made first contact yet.

SO results roll around and we find out ANOTHER twist. Jim and Julie have been voted off their respective tribes and have been switched to the other. At first I was oretty disappointed. Mostly because they both seemed to be inactive, and this was kind of like starting all over again and having to cut the dead weight. I think most of the players were a little annoyed with it. At the same time though I thought that this was good because it would give me more time to bond with the ladies on my tribe as we would have an easy boot if we were to lose the first challenge.

SO moving on we started up our first official challenge and we found out about the Luv Shack Twist! Immediately I knew that either myself Gillian or Taj needed to go to the Luv Shack cause we need to control the flow of information. We need to know what's in that Shack and what prizes are being handed out. So, I voted for Gillian and hopefully got the momentum going towards her and she was elected to go into the Luv Shack. Inside she got a coin or a chip that gives her the opportunity to basically mutinee to the other tribe if she chooses to do so. Ultimately it doesn't help her very much because she is in a pretty solid position at the moment and she would just put herself at the bottom of the guys and Julie if she flipped, but at least no one else got the chip and can choose to abandon us if they think they might be getting voted out.

The first challenge was a good one, involving posting 4 different roses. It combined team work with quick motor skills and timing. In the beginning, it was myself, Mary, Gillian, and Taj going against some of the boys. Although they were beating us, we did develop a strategy eventually and we were somewhat holding them off. Of course, Julie shows up at the beginning of the challenge, and is suddenly active and helping them get points and saying bitchy things about myself and Taj. It's like go fuck yourself, you self voted and now you're pissed at us for voting u out? Loser. Anyway, soon enough some of us had to go to bed, assuming the young girls would hopefully do some stuff overnight since they said they would. By the time I woke up we were being pummeled. Some of the boys stayed up all night and Silas alone had almost 100 points. RC and Jefra had ok holding the guys off but I knew then there was no chance in sight. At that point the only thing to do was gain individual points. I tired a bunch during the day but the guys were just amazing at this challenge. They were a well oiled machine and had a system down, while I was alone and not on the fastest computer connection ever, so I sucked and managed to gain like 10 points or so throughout the day/evening.

No one was shocked to see that we had lost, and we all knew what was going to happen anyway. All the girls had at least been active and helped at some point, but Jim still hadn't shown up at all and he was going home.

WHile we were waiting for Tribal Council to be posted Mary approached me saying that if we at some point have to make a choice she wont vote for me. She feels most comfortable with me and my activity level and that she also likes Taj and somewhat Gillian and Marissa. I mentioned to her that that would be a good core 5 group to have. She said yes but she would want and even tighter core three on that group so I suggested Taj and she said either Taj of Marissa. This seems pretty perfect for me. That would put me into a 3 with Gillian and Taj and then a three with Taj and Mary, which I'd say makes me pretty safe going into a potential vote. I told Taj and Gillian both about this because ultimately they are my main alliance and I think GIllian was happy I told her, and she understands why I had to say yes and why its a good thing for us to have Mary so that Mary won't swing over and work with the young girls. Things seemed pretty much perfect, with the host them letting us know that Jim was OUT, and that we would not have to wait through an agonizingly boring tribal council. UNTIL, Mary then started getting weird about Gillian, getting suspicious of Gillians motives and worrying about her identity and the fact that maybe she has connections with the boys. Definitely not good, I want Mary and GIllian to be getting along. I'm now recognizing that Mary is a very paranoid person which might get annoying but it also means I need to keep her close so she doesn't try to make a move on me. Anyway, I think that pretty much brings me up to speed.

Oh and now that the game is underway and were actually competing with the boys, I've noticed they are pulling away from me a lot. Anyway, game on!
