Well Julie's gone. I think my last words to her were "I'll try to protect you this vote, but I don't think you have anything to worry about." Not the first lie I've told, and it won't be the last. Oh well.
Okay bear with me on this because this story is going to get a little Junior-High/Telephone-y but I'll try to make it make as much sense as possible.
So Kass messages me tonight to tell me she's on the outs with her tribe. Apparently they know that she is in good and well liked with a bunch of the guys, including me, Silas, and Ethan. She says that one of the guys must have told the girls about this, and that she suspects Yul. Yul messages me not long after to say that Kass is throwing shade on him from every direction, a fact which I can confirm since, y'know, she was just spreading rumors to me.
So what Kass did was basically to force a choice between her and Yul for the rest of us guys. Guess who we're gonna pick though? The person who can actually help us moving forward and who is voting in our tribe currently. All Kass has done with this story is paint a target on her back. Then again, Kass is smart, so she would KNOW that making up a story like this just paints a target on her, which makes me consider that she might be telling the truth, in which case I should be wary of Yul. As per usual, my decision is to ... do nothing. I can't vote Kass out right now, so my best course of action is to stay the course and let more information pour in over the coming rounds.
I promise I'll start playing the game hard once we start getting down to the nitty gritty and the situation actually calls for hard gameplay. Right now, I just need to stick with the relationships that will continue to protect me. The biggest mistake I see so often is OVERplaying, and I don't plan to get hit by that train ... again.
